We had a lovely dinner. Five former co-workers- ordered a variety of dishes… they were all scrumptious!!

Great atmosphere. Our server was very attentive, atmosphere nice, not too loud so we could chat easily.

I will return. Highly recommend Mati for a really nice meal out.

We were 4 for dinner and we each ordered something different. Oysters, lobster tacos, fish, steak, crab cakes! The food was absolutely fantastic! I can honestly say I have never had a more delicious piece of steak! Also, the lobster wonton tacos were simply amazing.

Every person at our table loved their meal! And the service was impeccable.

Our table was a mix of English and French and our server switched between the two languages seamlessly all night. Although the dinner was a bit on the pricey side, I would recommend the food and service 100%.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary, and it was our first time at Mati. We were very happy with our choice, as every little detail made the evening special. The food was amazing, and they even placed a “Happy Anniversary” note on our table. The owners personally came over to wish us a happy anniversary, which made the experience even more memorable. Attentive service and an unforgettable evening!

I was really impressed with my recent visit. It was the first visit for a friend and I, and we were both thrilled with our food. The cocktails were inspired and well executed, the food was delicious and beautifully presented, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was attentive and balanced. I was really impressed with the decor as well; I had initially thought based on the photos that it might have felt a bit cold with all the white tiles but balance of wood, brick and other patterns really blended together to create a beautiful space. Well done on all fronts. Definitely recommend.

Lovely food, vibrant and energetic atmosphere, impeccable service and perfect for a fine dining experience. A bit pricy but definitely worth every penny.

It can be very loud during peak periods. The food (main course) also takes a while to be ready, as much as 50mins+, however once it's out, it's worth the wait.

Street parking is available, or you can use the paid parking lots nearby.

One of my favourite restaurants to enjoy in Ottawa. Great atmosphere can enjoy a drink at the bar with apps or even a meal you cant go wrong. I love the food and drinks i dont know where to start.

I usually start with oysters and love the seafood tower but love to try other dishes. I brought my soon to be wife there on our first date and expect to celebrate our anniversary there every year… obviously won't be the only time i enjoy it.
